Difference From One To Another

Difference From One Two Another

Families, all people have so many different thoughts and ideas about what families should look like or how families should act. When I think of a family I think of going to family members houses for birthdays and different holidays. I think that all families have changed over time and that families are harder to get together all at one time.

Two pictures were looked at during a class period. One was a family of an older generation on page 58. The other picture I compared different thoughts about was on page 59. The family on page 59 looked to be of a younger generation and in a modern house. The older generation family had thoughts the same as me about getting together with grandma making the homemade thanksgiving dinner while we all enjoy the company of our family members being together.  In both the images the family is together yet in the younger generation picture the family looks confused, scared and not enjoying the company of one another. I feel this is how some families are when they see each other. I feel that in the older days many families were grateful for the dinner grandma made and thankful that they were all able to be together. Many families today have to split themselves between their father and mothers families because of divorce. These families are still considered families, but not how one would picture a family.

After looking at these pictures I am truly thankful for my family that we are all still together and connected as one family. Even with families changing over time my family is still made up of a mom and dad married happily. As for our extended family we still all enjoy going out to grandma’s house for holidays to be with one another.
